Short version: the Anomaly Identifier processes search text in your browser. We do not upload that text; analytics collect the aggregate page and tool-usage data described below.
No accounts, no sign-ups, no comments and no submitted forms. The Anomaly Identifier's optional search text and selected clue stay in the page and are not sent as analytics parameters. We don't know your name or email unless you choose to contact us directly.
We use Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to see aggregate traffic — which pages get read, roughly where visitors come from, and general device/browser info. These tools use cookies and may log your IP address in anonymized or truncated form. Nothing here is tied to a site account, because there are no accounts. We also send one anonymous tool_use event when the Anomaly Identifier is used; it contains only the tool name, never search text or the selected clue. You can block analytics with a browser ad-blocker or by disabling cookies with no effect on the site working.
This site uses Google AdSense. The AdSense script is loaded on every page, and once ads serve, Google and its partners can use cookies to show ads based on your visits here and elsewhere. Visitors in the EEA, UK and Switzerland are shown a consent banner first and can decline. You can also opt out of personalized advertising through Google Ads Settings.
Some pages link out to Roblox, YouTube, Fandom, or other sites. Once you click through, their own privacy policy applies — we have no control over what those sites do.
