How it plays
The Doctor pays you in sanity for the game's core loop: heal a patient, get 1 back. If your natural role is treatment — reading charts, fetching the right medicine, curing — this converts your entire workload into a slow, steady heal that no backpack slot has to pay for.
From level 2 the class also carries a serious starting bonus (+15, then +20 at level 3 — nearly matching the Intern's best) stacked on top of the per-cure recovery. One cosmetic note: the Doctor got its own redesign in the July 10 update; before that it reused Dr. Harlow's old model.
