In person anomaly

๐Ÿ‘๏ธ Staring

Its head tracks you โ€” or a random target in the room โ€” constantly. In person the tracking is limited to roughly 60ยฐ, but on CCTV there's no limit at all, so the head can swivel further than a real neck should allow.

How to spot it

The CCTV version is the more reliable tell: a head rotating past what's physically possible on camera is unambiguous. In person, watch whether the eyes/head follow you specifically or just drift toward a fixed point โ€” genuine tracking of you across the room is the signal.

If you get it wrong

Staring always turns into a Shapeshifter during recovery. Even after a correct treatment, keep watching the room โ€” this is one of the few anomalies where the danger isn't over when the paperwork is.
